A Day of Health and Connection
The Teddy Bear Fair featured an extensive range of health screenings tailored for children ages 0-8, including nursing assessments, immunizations, and specialized services such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language support, and mental health resources. These offerings underscored the event’s dedication to the well-being of the younger generation, providing parents and guardians with valuable health information and resources.

The fair also showcased a variety of community services, including the AIVC, Dental/COHI, Healthy Families/FASD, Nutrition, Autism Society, PCN, FN Health Consortium, Imagination Library, Protective Services, Carseat Safety, FASD-WWSN, and Patient Navigator programs. This diverse lineup highlighted the collaborative spirit of Paul First Nation, bringing together local organizations to support families comprehensively.

Strengthening Community Bonds
Beyond health services, the event emphasized community engagement through interactive and educational opportunities. The presence of elder story sessions and the PFN Royalty added a cultural touch, celebrating the heritage and traditions of the Paul First Nation. The Imagination Library and Strengthening Families initiatives further reinforced the community’s focus on nurturing every child, aligning with the event’s heartwarming theme, “Every Child Matters.”

The welcoming environment at the Health Centre filled with free family fun ensured that attendees were eager to participate. The colorful Teddy Bear Fair branding, complete with an iconic teddy bear logo, served as a unifying symbol for the community’s collective efforts.
